PDN for Digital Scrapbooking
PDN is short for Paint Dot Net, a FREE photo editing & image creating software.
These are the final downloads for my FREE Dia de los Muertos digital scrap kit gift for you. Some of the elements were made from the shapes I created to use within Paint.Net from this FREE Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull kit, also made using Paint.Net and the FREE ShapeMaker plugin, located here.
I want to create a non-technical, realistically easy to understand tutorial for you using Paint.Net's Shapemkaer plug-in and a Sugar Skull creation with all of the sugar skull decorations as the shape for you to create or go by for the free educational shape making tutorial. Some of us seem to have a better grasp on using the plugin than others. I have nailed it, as has another talented and creative Paint.Net user. Should she create a website with how she uses Paint.Net, I will link her website to this website. Adobe Photoshop isn't the only heavy hitter in town anymore. Plus, Paint.Net is free and uses a lot of Photoshop files. The only thing Paint.Net cannot at this time do is properly use most Photoshop.abr brushes like Gimp, a more technical and powerful free software, can. However, with the endless cool features Paint.Net does offer, it still is a very powerful feature-filled easy to learn software.
I love Sugar Skulls, decorating them, colouring them, and the DDLM beautiful and meaningful holiday. So, in addition to adding the final downloads of this kit, which was created for educational purposes showing some of what Paint.Net can do, here are some links to Sugar Skull coloring pages that may come in handy if you want to make your own kit using the ShapeMaker plugin or to just print out and color.
This one has a wide variety of Sugar Skulls beyond the traditional skull.
This Sugar Skull site gives you the option of coloring your Sugar Skull online.
